Christmas is in the air!!

Well- the last few days have been pretty busy! I have started working on some Stamp a Stack cards- and projects as well.

This card was a quick and easy one i came up with using the Stampin' Up! Berry Christmas set.

This is a stamped candle we did for my "Gifts of Christmas" class last Saturday. I was really happy with how easy candle stamping was!! This was a new technique for me. Everyone that attended was really excited about this great project! We put the candles in a cello bag and tied witha ribbon and used the Delightful Decorations stamp set/punch to make a tag. Turned out very cute!!

Next event will be next Friday- Nov 20--7pm here at my house. Christmas card stamp a stack.

Christmas is next MONTH?!

Seriously? What happened to 2009?

WOW! Time to start planning holiday parties, shopping, cards, gifts....such a busy but wonderful time of the year!! I am hearing snowflakes in the forecast! That just adds to the whole feeling of the season...

This week is my "Gifts of Christmas" class. 7pm here at my house...please RSVP as soon as possible if you plan on attending! The cost is 10.00 or free with a paid 25.00 order!

I also have a Stamp A Stack scheduled for the 20th at 7pm. 15 cards- 20.00- taking reservations for that class now!!

Happy October!!

It sure feels like fall out there today! :) LOVE IT!

Thinking ahead for the Holidays~

Happy Fall and Happy Birthday to my husband today!!

I sat down last night and put together a calendar of upcoming stamping events and classes i will be having..here's the list...

October 3 is world card making day AND my birthday! (how appropriate is that??!!)

October 17th- Last Stamp Club of the year and potluck!! Bring some food and friends! It will be FUN!

November 1st (Sunday) 4pm- I am going to host a Christmas gift idea/cards class for 10.00 or free with 25.00 purchase! (pics to follow!) I will take 10 for this class and if I get more interest I will schedule a 2nd date. I will also have Christmas Wish lists available for guests to fill out and take to family members/husbands/friends for gift ideas!! I will wrap the gift for free~!

November 20- Christmas Stamp A Stack!! 7:00pm 15 cards (3 designs- 5 of each) 20.00

November 21st- Vendor fair at the Geib Center in Dover- 12-4 Stop in and check it out!! I will be set up with lots of premade cards and Fall/Thanksgiving/Christmas items!

Stampin Up Cincinnati Regional Convention- 2009

We're back from the Regionals!! Sherry and I left Friday night- drove to Cincinnati and stayed the night- got up early the next day- swaps in hand- and went to the regional convention!

This was a new experience for both of us- so when we got there- we signed in and received our packet with our new stamp set- YAY! and all the materials we needed to make 6 projects.

We had stamping time throughout the day- swapped out cards with other demos- that was fun!! We both got lots of new ideas! There's a lot of talent out there!

We had a boxed lunch and got to meet Shelli Gardner- the CEO of Stampin' UP!

She was very nice! :)

There were boards set up with samples of cards from demos- that was neat- we took lots of pics!

It was a long day and we ended up slightly lost in a ghetto-looking part of Cincy on the way home- but we made it back safely!!
